Hiya,

I'm in Cairns for three weeks and have brought my Helios Apollos 15x70's over, is there anyone or a club/society' meeting up in the next couple of weeks? would love to have the privilege of a cheeky scope view of some of the southern hemisphere wonders... 

Off for sleep now, can't believe jet lag is a real thing :-(

Hope you find a scope down there as those southern treasures look amazing on the map!  Maybe worth buying a cheap dept store refractor?!!!  You could then bequeath it to your grandson
