Black moving objects moon

I was viewing the moon last night and saw some dark objects moving over the surface of the moon I saw them about 2 or 3 times any ideas guys?

Most possibly birds going through the field of view.

I saw something strange too.  Turned out to be a small fly inside the dewshield!

It definitely wasn't a bird or a fly it was moving really slowly in a kind of zigzag and moving slowly

Were you viewing with your eyes, binoculars or a scope ?

I was in Bristol last night trying to show some folks the Moon at a star party but the sky was 99% cloudy from around 7:30pm until quite late. There were one or two gaps in the clouds but they only lasted a few seconds.

Rather frustrating !

Sounds like floaters in your eyes to me, quite likely viewing the moon through a scope at high power
