Very nice shot ...and better than my night time stuff.

Our local group are supposed to be doing a public event this evening in Oxfordshire but it's looking like thin high cloud at best or more likely just wall to wall thick stuff.

Hey Charl, are you imaging with that Sony Alpha? I've been looking at the latest model of these online, they seem promising for some AP work.

thanks Dave, i use my alpha for DS, these pics are with my canon 450d, the alphas are great cameras but  my 450 is better with the moon, more contrasty, where the alpha is more colour senscetive great for stuff in deep space. clear skys  charl.
