M17 Omega Nebula

Another object that is still too low to get any decent results from because of the atmosphere, but i still had to give it a go to see what i ended up with.....

70 x 25sec subs @ ISO 800

Thanks......I dont think there has been many posts of M17

A lot of this nebula is missing in the image, it has picked up the swan but think its almost headless.....I might have a crack at it again shortly, thats if i can get my focussing sorted out

I just had another look at the high mag. It looks very solid!

It would be a great target to capture if it wasnt so low.....Its not in an ideal position until around 2.30am.....I then lose it behind the trees, although by this time it is becoming too light
