Small scope Luna challenge

I took this on August 15th with my Nikon D3200 and 70-300mm Tamron Zoom lens. Rather than my usual single shots when using the lens, I took a 30 second video, dumped half the frames when converting in PIPP, then stacked 50% of the remainder.

I was pleasantly surprised.

First challenge, hope I did this right?

Camera: DMK 21AU618.AS(monochrome)
Filter: Celestron #23 Red
Optic: Orion ED80(standard, not the triplet or CF)
Mount: iOptron ZEQ25GT
Stacked in AS!2, mosaic in LR2015, tweaked in LR2015

Four panel mosaic(best 35% of 1,000frame avi)

Like very image indeed Scott, nicely processed.

Here is one with my TAL Alkor, the 65mm light thimble ;) and iPhone, seeing was awful! 

I'm sure I can do better but it's a starter.

We must be getting back to Luna season, got some really good images coming in Aaron thanks for posting some very good A-focal shots

I want this thread to be a source of encouragement to to newer members that dont own the massive dobs or huge triplet fracs and we are doing a very good job

Scott I love this image, great detail captured, it's almost 3D.
