Jupiter 2016-03-01 Mak 127

Had a go at Jupiter for the first time this year. I was very lucky because I just set up in time to see both Io and Europas shadows cross. Mak 127 + DFK 21.618

The little Mak 127 scope is a great  grab and go scope. Extremely portable, pretty fast cooldown, no collimation problems(so far) and can give you really nice views.

Very nice image Johan. The maksutov is certainly a great scope...miss my little 105ETX sometimes! Always a bonus and a nice surprise (if your not wired off) to capture a transit.☺
