Skysafari/SkyQ WiFi/Starsense alignment data

Now the SkySafari 5 Pro for IOS supports mount alignment (Celestron AVX) using the Starsense, I can use my iPhone to do the alignment without tripping over wires.

SkySafari 4 Plus for OSX will connect to the SkyQ Wifi but does not support alignment

Does anyone know if I can use the IOS version to align the mount whilst outside, then return to the warmth of the house and use SkySafari 4 Plus to select the objects without losing the alignment info that was collected during alignment. The phone is a wee bit small and the IOS version does not allow me to build a watch list.

I'd hate to have done the PoleMaster polar alignment, then mount alignment and find it was wasted time whenI get back inside.
