Jannis
Managed to capture 14 min exposure @ ISO400 with the 550D and the explorer 200. I have to say i did struggle with the star color on this one. For some odd reason almost all the stars appeared blue, and i could just faintly see a trace of yellow in a couple of the brighter ones. Think i'll have to capture more star color data next time, and maybe try on a none-moonlit sky..
wimvb
Very nice image. I can see your Point about starcolour. The difference between stars could be more pronounced.
todd8137
Hi great capture I prefer this image as once the data on these sorts of targets gets longer you gain more but loose so much in the cluster great image pat

Jannis
As the moon was washing away the sky this night and my targets were limitet, i decided to try something new... I captured 115x 10 sec exposures in NIR (742nm IR-pass filter) with the QHY5L-IIM trough the finderscope, and blended this into the red channel. I expected this to boost the more red stars, but more or less leave the blue stars alone. It appears to have worked quite well, although the resolution wasn't the best. What do you guys think of the result?
