Couple shots with PST today nearly 50 degrees and sunny two days in a row, strong winds.  Almost had goose head / solar image.  Saw goose head whiz by in PST crossing disk of sun...too bad wasn't recording. Stacked few frames in Nebulocity using  sun spot as star since PST wont focus entire disc.  Was pleasantly surprised, jazzed up result in PS a bit, maybe a bit much?

Nice captures. I think stacking more images in a planetary stacking program like AutoStakkert and postprocessing in ImPPG (both free) might get even better results. If you cannot get the entire disk on the chip you can always stitch multiple images in AutoStitch (also free)

Looking pretty good to me,  as micheal said stacking more frames would help.

Nice.:)  I like the B&W disk.

When you use AS!2, make sure you click "surface" and not "planet".

I usually stack my captures in AS!2 and then run them through Registax for wavelet adjustments and histogram stretches, as needed.  Then, the resulting TIF is off to Photoshop for finish processing.

Nice! I like the PS treatment, I especially like the second one, I've tried for that yellow look a few times and I find it tricky!
