M106 LUM Only

This image consists of 21x600s Subs taken with atik 383l+ and orion 203mm newt that has been shortened and mirror moved forwards.  LUM only for now as i wait for the moon to go away to get some color and HA data.

Nice image! But... isn't it Ha that people normally do when the moon's out? I'd have thought that Lum would be the last thing to do with a nearly full moon! Not criticising, it clearly worked! Just a little puzzled...

You are definitely right.  M106 was on the other side of the sky as the moon and i did use a skyglow filter.  This was from tuesday night so it was about half moon.  

I tried to hit the HA last night but a wind storm abruptly ended my imaging session.

I was able to get some color data on this finally.  I had some trouble with star color on this one, but so far this is what i have come up with.

Total of 5 hours now with 2 hours of LUM and 3 hours of color data.
