Barlow lens.

It seems I can't focus using a 2x Barlow lens, I tried using a 20mm, 15mm, 10mm eyepieces but all I can see is the spider through my eyepiece when I adjust the focuser. Any tips or tricks or any advice will be appreciated. I have a celestron Astromaster 130EQ

How is it without using the Barlow? And what brand of Barlow do you have? Cheap Barlows can be problematic, but I'm sure with enough information - we'll be able to find the problem.

I too struggle with the focus on a x2 Barlow. I have the standard one that comes with the Skywatcher 4" refractor.

I had this problem on my SW 80ED with a 2X Barlow, i have to thread a 50mm extension tube onto the front of the Barlow before inserting it in the focuser.
