I had a fleeting view last night as it is low in the sky and only puts in a brief appearance, with trees on one side and house on other.

8 X 5min, iso 1600, DSS, photoshop.

Nice. I can't get a view of this so it's nice to see.

I was surprised when stellarium showed it low to the south, even more surprised when I locked on, as I thought you could only see this in the southern hemisphere. The sky was a bit blurry and I get a bit of Londons skyglow imaging south, but have to say I am chuffed as I did not think I could image this. Tim.

One of my favourite DSO's. A great couple of shots. I love the widefield.

Restacked with Kappa Sigma Clipping mode in DSS and I think it has retained a little more detail of the galaxy rim. Here is a quickly worked close crop that has been inverted. Pretty good for 40 mins worth!
