Afternoon moon 15-2-16. 230pm

 no i havnt gone crazy it is a invert, i thought it looked niceish.taken with ed80 2xed barlow,450d, 70 fames staxed with regi. thanks for looking,clear skys,charl.

Very nice afternoon moon Charl. Could this be your best yet of a day time moon?

I have noticed the moon in the afternoon, looks good. It's getting the time off work and duties around the house to capture it at that time. Envious

thanks Dave, i like it alot but weather its my best one, i look at it this way ,my next one will be my best, that way it spurs me on. you have took loads of great images and i look forward to your posts so i too am envious. i look forward to seeing your day moons, i would think the best time for you to catch one would be earlyish to avoid the heat wobbles and haze with it being summer in OZ. clear skys charl

Too true, we're all striving to capture better with some of us (myself) struggling

Well Charl that sounds like a challenge to me... I made the time this afternoon for a full moon shot. It's not often I do them.

Hot here, a little wobble yes and challenge accepted!

Charl I do have the solar film for for my 8's. I'm holding back on solar for now as there's too much I want to capture at night. I have too many "To Do's" atm but I will eventually get around to solar that's for sure.

I'm not sure if it's the best place Charl but a warmer place yes, ok for solar. The heat is no good for imaging though for the rest. Very early morning is best time.

I had to have another squiz at your full sized shot for Lunar X, nice one, I didn't notice it before. There's always hidden gems in members larger photos posted here. The V I think I can just see faintly in the moons shadow area above the X about a page scroll up, that's if I'm looking in the correct spot.

I've been searching through all my lunar shots looking to see if I've captured The Rifle unknowingly, but no go.

the y or v is i think 4 craters down from the x, about hafe of the last craters  size below it ,you can only just make it out in my pic ,but im not 100% sure im in the right place or i could of discoverd something new "dout it".charl.
