Skysafari is available for Android. There is a basic version, which would be good to start with. There is a plus version and a pro version too, but these are more expensive, so bes to stick with the basic version first. This should give you plenty of scope (no pun intended) to learn the sky and find out where things are, especially the planets.

Try Google Sky Map, it's not updated but is free and your phone will need the right sensors etc, works for me on half my Android stuff.  Regents Park near the Zoo if that helps.
You can find lots of Aurora pictures in the widefield section,  been a good year so far it seems, sun activity helps and the sun has been active.
