A Galaxy i took a while ago , just tidied it up a bit , not an easy target this little devil , took it with the fast star GPS8 and CLS filter

Very nice Rog. Very "artistic" with the twinkly stars . In what way is it a hard target - very dim or difficult to work the exposures for the core and the rest of the image?

I should say when difficult Martin , using a web cam with my set up ,it does remain a difficult object . its Mag is about 9.5, i find all galaxies a bit hard, to be honest my sky here is,nt the best by far , it has to be excellent seeing and also using a cls filter for me to nab any galaxies, however with the new camera it should be alot easier and especially when i can auto guide, this however is a little ways off yet ,,FUNDS YA KNOW !!!
