2/6/2016 - Oracle, Arizona - seeing fair - trans fair - obs. good

120mm f5 refractor

Cassiopeia:

NGC457 - Owl Cluster/ET Cluster - 60x - To me it definitely resembles a man with huge eyes and outstretched arms/hands  and stubbly legs/feet - head roughly south, feet roughly north - arms and huge hands spread out roughly east/west - eastern eye is brightest star in cluster and is yellow - western eye is second brightest star and is blue - torso appears to be imbedded in a subtle nebulosity - approximately two dozen or so stars resolvable.

NGC436 - O.C. - In the same field with NGC457 at 24x - 60x - around a degree north/northwest of the feet of NGC457 - Dim, small, compact and roundish - approximately a dozen faint stars spread across a roundish, nebulous haze of what I presume to be unresolved stars.
