Coleman Fuel Alternative ?

L8-Nite

Recommended Posts

Update:  I took a punt and purchased a 5 litre container of Aspen-4 to try with my old school stoves and lantern. It seems to burn cleaner than Coleman fuel, and with less of a perceptible odor. I found it also seemed to burn away much faster when used to prime the preheating cup on our primus stove, so two applications were necessary to get it fired up; other than that, so far I'm happy with it, except for the price.

Lots of DIY tinkerers on here. Could you mod the stove to run on chlorine trifluoride? That should get dinner ready in half the time.

!!!   Seriously, I value my life more than that.
