Focus Extension Tube for SkyWatcher Startravel-80

Just a thought - I would be very interested in this if it had a thread at the scope end to replace the focuser draw tube (I think it's a T-thread from memory). Also a three screw fitting at the camera end (or better still a brass ring fitting) for camera centering. Much firmer and less flexure I reckon. :)

The Startravel-80 is regarded as the best affordable guidescope so we wanted the extension tube to be affordable too but I'll discuss your suggestions with John

I would just like to add, its a very good price though......

I should have mentioned it includes a T-thread, is threaded for 1.25" filters and has a milled safety under-cut for security.

We also have a dovetail specifically-made for the Stratravel-80.

@FLO got mine delivered today, a bag would have done it FLO :D

just as brantuk said it would be much better with a compression ring.

my only gripe is the thumb screws. one thread is baggy and the other is tight then lose as it turns.

its great idea just needs that compression ring.
