Polar stratospheric clouds / Nacreous clouds and the Moon from 08:30hrs this morning ( Feb 2nd ), and a multi-coloured sky from last night, from North East England.

Nikon D3200 and 18-55mm Nikor lens. With the wind bending the tree and the clouds whipping by, the Moon's sideways smile peeps through the clouds.

Thanks for sharing these images. I have been looking out for them for a week or so seen lots of different colour clouds, but not sure whether I have actually seen the Nacreous clouds  or not though.

I mentioned on our society Facebook page, that it's funny how we are desparate to see complex cloud formations on Jupiter, and yet the ones we can see on Earth in far more detail, just annoy us!
