Does anyone know of a good Semi gloss Polyurethane varnish which is oil based.

In the States they use Miniwax Helmsman Spar Urethane semigloss but I cant find it here.

First part of the secondary cage sanded down to 340 grade and glued.

Finished glueing the upper cage truss blockes and. The baffle stop on the filter slide.

Finished varnishing the ground board and upper cage.

I have also glued the Mirror box.

The baffle material is damaged in 4 plces unfortunatly.

Does anyone know where I can buy baffle material in the uk?

I think it is Kydex .7mm thick

I dry fitted the baffle just to see what the cage looks like.

I also rounded over with my router the laminat on my groundboard feet.

I finished sanding the mirror box and the finger joints look great.

Would this blackboard paint stick to polyurethane solvent based paint of my mirror box?

Rocker box glued and a dry fit before sanding.

I can see no reason why it won`t just make sure any poly is cured/dry before you use it and try it on a bit  of scrap timber----------polyurethane on let cure/dry then the blackboard paint.
