After many weeks of grey sky, wind and rain (and the Sun being too low) today dawned bright and clear so I set up and waited patiently for the Sun to come out from behind the trees.
It stayed clear long enough to run off a few thousand frames before the clouds arrived.
Seeing not too bad considering the low Sun.
AR2488 & AR2489 in various guises.

Quark Chromo, 100mm refracter, PG BFly .5f/r

Nice one Dave, lots of detail from that low down sun! I just knew seeing would be decent as I missed a lunar imaging opportunity!
