Comet magnitude predictions

The BAA annual handbook used to give comet data including magnitudes over three sample dates each month but no longer does so. Although they give some web links for the data, I can't find projected magnitudes listed. Does anyone know where this resource might be available please? Although I know that magnitudes are less meaningful for comets than some other objects, I still find it helpful to go out prepared with some idea of how they look.

Hello Gazabone. I use the IAU Minor Planet & Comet Ephemeris Service at: http://www.minorplanetcenter.org/iau/MPEph/MPEph.html

There is a box at the bottom of the page where you enter the comet name: e.g. "81P/Wild". The click the "Get ephemerides" button and you will get positions and predicted brightness.

Stellarium gives a magnitude for comets if you download them, mind it says comet P/2010 V1 Ilkeya Murakami is around mag 9 ATM but I couldn't find it last night with 10"SCT
