1St Time Iss Real Capture

Never managed a "real" image of the ISS before, but inspired by the good people on SGL I had a go with the C9.25/ASI120mm set up this morning at 6:30ish. I only managed to get it on the chip for around 50 frames this was one of the better ones!

I am very pleased to get something decent and looking forward to another go, any tips would gratefully received.

That's far better than my first image (and all of the ones I don't post on SGL  )

   

Focusing is critical but also using a fast shutter speed. I also have a double cross hair on my Finder which helps I think as otherwise when its right in the middle you can't see it !!

I bet that was a handful getting it in frame with that focal length.
