Really Excited!!!

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

Did a proper process of the data that I collected last night, as well as the data I collected on my second attempt, and made my third ever DSO image. It's past my wildest expectations, and I was really amazed when this popped up on the screen! I also rotated it so that it is the what appears to be correct (wrong) way round, as before, it was the incorrect (right) way round???!!! Really confused, but, "there's not to reason why!"

Please could people be free to give advice/criticism as need be, I am still a newbie, and desperately need advice!!!!!

Thanks,

Don't fall into the trap of correct orientation.

Most scope configurations will have the object upsidedown, flipped or both.

If you use a camera lens the image will be correct to what your eyes see.

There is no up and down in space so show the image how you want to, don't

let internet trolls spoil the fun, One point in photography is to have a perspective

that no one else has.

Awesome image their John, I hope to get an image like yours someday.

Did you just use a camera and lens? Was it stacks on a tripod? Or did you have to track the object?

I only ask as I have just started myself with just a camera and a tripod:)

Keep up your good work looks awesome to me and can only get better with more practice.

Darrell.
