Very nice to get a session in on the 1st day of the year. When I went out at 3:30am :eek: it was pretty clear, but it soon became a little hazy. Fortunately the seeing conditions were good for once probably getting on for a 8/10. With all 4 main moons to one side of Jupiter it made for a stunning sight. 

The usual set up C9.25/ASI120mm. 4,000 frames per channel, stacked in A/S, lightly processed in C/S2.

A great way to start 2016. Nice detail, colour is a bit too red/orange and would benefit from lowering saturation a touch.

Great image though.

I have reduced the red a little as suggested and also added the moons I captured that morning as well. With hindsight I should done RGB's for the moons as well and maybe made them a little brighter perhaps.

Like the amount of detail captured and the colour balance. You get a lot of detail with the 9.25.
