2015, was it good to you?

I'm not sure how anyone else has found this year but balancing uni, work and kids..... I've managed a total of 4 imaging sessions in a year!!

You'd think it would put me off but I've foolishly upgraded to a ccd and shed obsy...... Please 2016 be Kinder..... For my wife's sake if anything.

How has your year gone?

Clouds, wind, rain and equipment failure,  nearly every time when I was able to get out. Not much more I can say.

 So spent the time available fiddling to improve things for when I get a decent clear spell.

On the plus side, got some nice new toys to play with, courtesy of my better half.

Good, down here. The autumn was particularly decent and the winter mild.

2015 was a good Astro year from my point of view, I attended my first ever star party at SGLX and the skies were kind and my camping neighbours were welcoming and helpful. 

I then attended Astrocamp in Sept and the weather was OK and again my camping neighbours (different people) adopted me for a couple of days and helped to make the experience very memorable.

I couldn't find a suitable EHU at May's Astrocamp so can't make that one but I'm booked to attend SGLXI this March and I'm looking forward to it already.

Organisers of star parties expend a great deal of their time and effort and we should be grateful for their commitment - many thanks from me to you all.
