Got a 6mm Skywatcher Planetary EP as a Christmas gift - hoping to use it soon in my Nexstar 127 Mak.  Mags are now x47, 88, 125, 167, 214, 250 so I reckon that's a good range.  Can't get lower with a focal length of 1500mm!

Already had some helpful advice re viewing Jupiter - I'll persevere and hopefully get a hint of colour some time soon!

I too plan to get a MAK I hear only good things about MAK and planetary views and lunar... Can't wait to hear your comments on the first light
