I know you addressed this to Nick but thought I'd get my two pennyworth in as I'm sitting here going slowly mad with this permacloud.

Yes I saw it trying to peep out from behind the clouds but it was shrouded in mist.

I thought the same thing with the run of observable passes at the moment but those pesky clouds have put paid to that idea.

One of the positives is that I can save money on the heating and put it towards more astro goodies...

So jealous! Tantalising little gaps in cloud here, but a big chunk of dark grey stuff approaching. No doubt any gaps that do appear when its properly dark will have thin higher haze behind them anyway .

Was in the kitchen earlier doing the washing up from dinner and looked out and there was the moon. Before I had finished it had retreated behind the clouds again. I think it just put in an appearance to tease.
