Got home from work last thursday around midnight and the skies were actually clear! Too late to set the scope up so I stuck the camera out on its own and took 65 x 6 sec lights, 20 darks and 20 bias. Quite pleased with how it turned out, I think I can see a hint of horse head but could just be noise.

Thanks happy-kat, I used a nikon 35mm 1.8 set at 2.8. Its cropped quite a bit. I picked up an old nikon 50mm 1.8 e series lens from around 1980 for £20, be interesting to compare the 2 lenses when I get a chance.

That's a very nice capture for such short exposures. I'm able to see a very faint horse there too! :)
