Jupiter and Moon of December 11, 2015

Recommended Posts

This image was taken at 5:00 this morning, Dec.11. 2015. The image was derived from an AVI taken with a ZWO ASI224MC camera using Sharpcap,  9.25 SCT,  2X barlow. Processed with Autostakkert 2, Registax 6 and Photoshop with Topaz Labs denoise. For the first time, I was  able to detect a little orange color on the moon at the 3 o'clock position. I believe it is Io but I am not sure.

Nicely done Mike and lovely presentation. Should be a great season as we get closer to opposition with these new cams.
