Pixinsight histogram tool

Hi, I am very new to pixinsight, however even to me; the histogram tool seems odd to use!

I'm trying to stretch an image that I know has very good signal so when I move the mid point over to the left; I'm finding that it will be very close (if not on top of) the black point slider!!

Then I find it quite difficult to grab the black point slider to move it to the right!

I accept that it is probably me, or the way I have processed the image but it just seems a bit crowded over on the left side.

Is there a way of expanding the range?

I apply a first stretch - which gives you room to see the black area of the histogram then adjust the blackpoint / fine tune the image with subsequent stretches.

Hi

I use the multiple stretch way as well , but in the middle of the Hist tool there is a zoom in mode which means you can zoom right in for accurate stretches

Thanks guys i've now found the zoom which does help but as you say; its multiple stretches that i should have been doing.
