Binocular Sky Newsletter, December 2015

Recommended Posts

The latest edition of the Binocular Sky Newsletter is ready. As well as the usual overview of DSOs, variable and double stars, this month we have:

  • Several lunar occultations, including one of Aldebaran
  • Comet Catalina now visible in the morning sky
  • Meteors from Asteroid 3200 Phaethon
  • A mini-review of Vixen's SG 2.1x42 binocular

I hope you find it useful.

To get your (free!) copy, go to http://binocularsky.com and click on the newsletter tab.

Thanks for posting another great newsletter - I'm getting more into binos and now have some Helios 22 x 85 to get my teeth into. The website refers to a Weifeng WT - 011H - Who sells these in the UK please? Thanks, M

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! :bino2:  :hello2:  :hello2:

Thanks! I find it hard to believe that it's been 4 years. Also surprised that what I thought would have maybe a few dozen readers at most would get so many subscribers that I had to find a 3rd party mailer because my ISP started blocking (as spam) bulk BCC emails to more than 100 people, and I was then into the 400s; now having to think about what to do if I hit the "free" limit for  the mailer. Nice problem to have
