Leaving a telescope outside

Hi, I have a 200p which has a waterproof cover, I was wondering if it would be OK to leave it outside? Here in Cyprus we do get dew but it never gets cold enough to freeze. The cover is full length and covers the scope fully.

It should be ok outside as long as it is dry. It may well become home to a few spiders though.

Additional to the above points - make sure it stays well ventilated to avoid condensation build up.

Yeah I would say to make sure it is dry and take the cover off each day to keep it critter free and help with condensation, dust etc.

I don't have anywhere to store it outside I'm afraid, no problem with being stolen, crime is very rare here and its in a secure rear garden. Never thought about insects, plenty of them here and some odd looking as well, thanks for your reply lots to consider.
