EQ5 case

Not sure if this is the right topic, but I was wondering how people store and transport their EQ head mounts?

I have an EQ5 and the polystyrene it came in is starting to fall apart, so I was looking for a case. I've seen this: http://www.365astronomy.com/Aluminium-Carrying-Case-for-EQ5-Mount-Head.html but does anyone have any cheaper alternatives? Can you buy the pre-cut foam an make a wooden case?

take a look at these, used for the music industry , I have a bag from them to house my C8 and it works a treat and is really good quality
