Orion Xt8 transportation

Hey guys!

I just got my first telescope and I'm stoked!

I can't wait to take it out, but I was planning on taking it on a ride in my car to get to my stargazing spot which is about a half hour drive from home.

That thing is pretty big and I really don't want anything to happen to it, so how should I transport my scope? Any tips?

No problems, just put it across the back seats and strap it in with the seat belts......
