I go to Chimay to find a dark sky.Here is a little test with the fsq106ed and a ccd sbig stl11000.I take 4 pictures of 10 min through a clear filterand 2 x 10 min through a red, green and bleue filterThe night become short, and I don't have time to take h-alpha picture. barkis Posted May 15, 2008 Share Posted May 15, 2008 Sébastien, I see from your pictures in and around Brussels, the Light Pollution is pretty bad for you.Just like many areas of the UK. It must be difficult travelling such a long distance to get dark skies, but it makes a big difference to your images. Much better, and worth the trip I think. Ron.
