AstroEq and 200p OTA

I'm wondering which stepper motors to buy to use with the AstroEq I just bought. I want to make sure that the motor can comfortably drive a 200p OTA (about 9kg) on an EQ5 mount. This is what I was thinking:

This is only 0.5 amps but the holding torque is 23ncm (32.6oz.in)

Are there other people with similar size OTA's using this setup?

Hi,

I modded my mount with these "Nema 14 High Torque Stepper 1.5A 40Ncm(56.7oz-in) 14HS20-1504S" purchased from "stepper on-line" directly, but they are now available through eBay.

They worked perfectly with EQMOD....

Thanks for the reply, as far as I'm aware using 1.5a motors may be problematic for the AstroEQ, 1.5a is right on the limit for it. I take it you're using your own driver board etc.
