Explore Scientific Maxvision 82° Okular 24mm for EP projection?

Is it possible to use an eyepiece with a large diameter like the Explore Scientific Maxvision 82° Okular 24mm (http://www.explorescientific.de/Okulare/Explore-Scientific-Maxvision-82-Okular-24mm.html)

for eyepiece projection? If yes, with what gear?

Well, to answer my own question: the diameter of that eyepiece is far to big to fit into standard EP projectors.

I would not use a complex design as the MV 24mm 82 deg for EP projection. I tended to use a Vixen-made Celestron Plossl 26mm and later a 25mm Ortho. You do not need large FOV, and you do not want many glass-air interfaces. The fewer groups of lens elements, the better. As you have noticed, big lenses don't fit in normal EP projection kit (though it should be possible to machine something)
