AR2436: Mosaic, Panorama, & Single Frames

Recommended Posts

Here is AR2436 shot on the 26th in better seeing, ranging from average to very good. I have included a mosaic, a panorama, and a couple of single frames. Indeed, seeing is critical. It makes for tough standards. I have to evaluate whether it is worthwhile to struggle on days of poor seeing.

Well, it looks like this might be my last shots of the season. I went out this morning, and my DMK41 died on me. I just ordered another imager, namely the ASI74MM. But by the time it gets here the sun may no longer be accessible from my balcony. There was frost on the floor of my balcony this morning. Just another indication that it may soon be time to hibernate.

-Charles

Lovely detail in those images. Sorry to hear that your camera died on you. Solar imaging may be drawing to a seasonal close here as well. The sun barely rises over the trees to the south any more.

Lovely details, Charles. Hard luck with the DMK41. Hope the ASI174 serves you well.

Thanks everybody. I really appreciate the encouragement! I think the images are a bit dark, which may mean that I should look for a better monitor, one that suits astrophography more.

A fine set, that camera has been producing great results. I am sure you're going to love that ASI174mm. I am looking forward to seeing images with that.

Nice set of images Charles.

Sorry the winter is setting in for you, best either move south or break out the deicer.
