Thanks Michael and Seo.

Yes Michael the surface shots were also taken with

Quark Prominence. I was quite surprised with the detail.

Very nice detail, is it down to the Quark or the Esprit ?

Excellent result Dazzaa. Great to see how well the surface images have come out with the Prominence Quark.

Shaun with my first session with the quark prominence I have no

regrets in selling the chromosphere version.

Not sure how Daystar distinguish between what's a Prom and what's Chromo version, do they just sort through the production run and separate them or purposely make both versions ?

Lovely shots, very interesting, dazzaa. Were exposure times much shorter than with your Chromo?

With my ASI174 at a fast frame rate, I have to whack up the gain to get the image bright enough with my Chromo, so I wonder if a Prominence would help pull the gain back down a lot.

Seems funny, having too dark an image wiith the sun

Prominence version doesn't seem to popular with people wanted the narrower bandpass chromo. These images say the contrary. Spectacular proms and surface detail!
