Getting back into the swing of things

Hello all, just a quick introduction. I've been lurking in the background reading posts on here for sometime.. it's been a great source of info up to now and I've learnt a lot. I live down in the SW of the UK on Dartmoor so am blessed with dark skies for the most part.... well, when the rain and mist clear anyway!

I've owned two scopes in the past.... a 114mm reflector was my first and then I moved up to a Meade ETX90. I had a lot of fun with both however got rid of them about 10 years ago as I just didn't have the time. Now I'm back and this time I've got for something with a little more ooooomph and bought a Celestron Advanced VX 8" SCT and am looking to get into imaging.
