A bit of advice and discussion on equipment

Just looking at your picture of the tube I got the same sort of problem and had to refocus the other night before playing with the focus ring my barlow was making my focal length increase too much and I had to play around a bit to refocus. Try using live view to see when it improves. I have just looked at your Astrobin pictures they are really good, who'd have thought youve only been doing this for a few weeks.

ps your balow shot looks good was it 2x or 3x?

it was a 2x baader hyperion, I was a bit nervous as it was being converted from 2" camera adaptor down to 1.25" then back to 2" for the focuser
