Just been watching  AR2422, it keeps spitting out spikes and sparks, could be building up to something good!

I agree. Just had a quick look myself with the PSTAL. Seeing not great here either but pinged every now and again for a few seconds. The AR almost looks like a filaprom.  Not too much else on the disk but the odd teeny prom, fainter filaments and the other smaller AR. Cannot complain though after recent events. A fellow SGLer is sorting me a BF10 so I'll soon have full disk loveliness at 100mm aperture. Solar minimum here we come!
