M3 - 'first light' for new obsy

Recommended Posts

Had a very quick session last night, the first time using the obs for a month, due to the conversion from RoR to rotating turret.

A quick 'rough and ready' M3, as it was there, it was bright, and only needed short subs, so no need to bother with the guiding.

12" LX200R at f/7 and SXVF-H9C, 42x20 secs subs.

And the first one roll off the production line at Centroid Imaging HQ..

Sorry Dave, It's just that you made that sound so easy. It is a splendid M3 as a starter though.

I shudder to think what's coming when you really get serious. :(

you've done an awesome job with this image - the colours in the stars are great and the visibility of individual stars is outstanding!
