Sam
I took this last night - It's quite interesting how through the 8" is was barely visible yet the camera picked up so much detail. This is from 43 40sec exposures unguided stacked in DSS. Equipment was EOS 400D on an Orion XT8 8" Newt mounted on a HEQ5. I'm quite pleased how it turned out given how faint it is:(click to enlarge)mmmmmm, should have taken some darks I guess :nono: cheersSam

thing
Nice shot Sam, I picked up quite a few globs last night visually. I'm sure these new Hyperion eyepieces I have help, they're the only two I use now in the scope unless it's planetary when I use my ortho.
