Not a Dob but my little TS 80mm f7.5. I had been looking for a nice scope to use on the Astromaster AZ mount for travel and grab and go, the big box had a smaller box and lots of packing

This second box had a black tube with lots of bubble wrap, its getting a bit like pass the parcel with no music, and just me playing, plus a small bubble pack with a pair of tube rings

Rack and pinion 1.25 focuser that is rather nice to use, no way you are getting a crayford at less than £100 posted

Here it is on the mount and a pic of the lens, i have already used this a couple of times and if i am totally honest i am blown away by just how sharp and nice it is

The mount need a little work as it slips when point above 40 degrees, but this is easy to do, this scope looks like it has come from the skywatcher factory, its a long ST80, it will be getting its first holiday use in a couple of weeks at Berwick on Tweed, should be a good location to try it in anger

I have used this little scope a few times now, i have to say i am blown away at just how good it really is, CA is very well controlled for this scope and its just a nice simple light scope to use, one of my better purchases, even thinking i might splash out on a crayford focuser some time in the future
