CTB1 SNR in Cass

CTB1 is a very faint and diffuse supernova remnant in Cassiopeia. This is the H-alpha channel so far (7 x 30 min subs), but it's going to need more as I'm processing right down there in the noise level. The stars have been modded to push them into the background to reveal more of the nebula.

Scope: Televue NP127is @ 660mm

CCD: Atik490EX @ 1x1

Mount: 10-Micron GM2000HPS-II

Guide: unguided

Filters: Astrodon 3nM Ha

Data: 7 x 30min

Thanks all, yes it's a challenge this one. I sometimes think even longer subs would help - like 60mins, but the chances of getting any single sub of that length free of planes and satellite trails is.. minimal. Needs a bigger aperture maybe to catch more photons :-)
