Hi all,

I've long held fascination with stars and all things in the sky both terrestrial and extra (maybe not necessarily the little green men tho').

Now I feel as if I need a distraction from work and a want to broaden my horizons I thought I would pick up where I left off as a 13-14 year old looking through a telescope my dad bought from a pawn shop.

My day job is being a paramedic so a much needed change of direction to unwind.

Hi Martin, hope you enjoy the forum.  There are plenty of very knowledgeable people on the forum who can answer any of your questions.  I too was very on Astronomy in my younger years, then work got in the way and a growing family.  Now back into it, just waiting for clear skies.
