phillc
Another question, can you explain the term "flocking" and what it is. :? phillc
Ant
Flocking is a matt finish applied to the inside of Newt's, this stops stray light being bounced around the inside of the tube and can increase contrast I beleive! See here http://stargazerslounge.com/index.php/topic,25962.0.html for more into(and prices).HTHAnt

stefski
Hi Phill,I managed to flock my newt tube using black felt (20p per sq foot) and some carpet tape (strong double-sided sticky tape) to stick it on. Total cost for Eorpa 200 tube ~£8. Did improve contrast a little. Stef
