Yeah, thu night was ace really clear (observed from home) shame not got more like that. Would be good to meet up again soon as we haven't met up for ages. Work dependent, should be ok for meet up mid/end week sometime over next few weeks, once an opportunity presents itself!

Sorry to piggyback this thread but it seems vaguely on-topic: is Ranmore Common the best place to observe from? What's the light pollution like? I'm in Carshalton at the moment having just moved down from near the Peaks, and am eagerly looking for good places to observe with a non-orange sky!
